The exhibition at the museum centres on the events of January 1991. Visitors can look at a model of where the barricades were located, as well as a series of objects that were used during the process – Thermos bottles, walkie-talkies, posters, video cameras, gas masks, etc. There is also a collection of photographs. The exhibition also features the equipment of the Soviet OMON special forces, as well as items to commemorate those who died during the barricades. Visitors are also offered a chance to view videos and listen to audio recordings so as to feel the true breath of this legendary age.
